Scientists at the Georgia Institute of Technology have created a fabric capable of generating electricity from wind power and solar energy.
Using conventional production technologies, scientists have been able to combine solar cells, made from polymers, ultra-light, with tribogenerators that produce current by contact metals and insulators.
Fabric sufficiently elastic, breathable, lightweight and with the words of scientists is suitable for the production of clothing, tourist tents or curtains.
In one experiment, a piece of cloth, exhibited from a moving car window, loaded household uF capacitor 2 to a voltage 2V.
This fabric is useful in many areas of the economy. In industrial occupations where there is a constant need for recharging mobile devices.
